Oh I love grits and so do my kids!! Never heard of putting syrup on them though. I just put butter and salt on mine.
Lori, you are the first person that I have heard of that isn't FROM the south that likes grits. John's friend back in Boise loved grits but he was originally from Georgia so that didn't count lol. John hates them!! Says its like eating butter flavored sand. He doesn't know what he's missing!!
